prisma studio do?It starts a local web server and launches a browser-based interface for browsing and managing database data. The default local address uses port 5555.
Follow-up: How can it be used without a Prisma project? Pass a database connection string with --url, allowing Studio to connect directly and inspect the database schema.
Run prisma studio --url="<connection-string>". The URL option supplies the database connection directly instead of relying on project configuration.
Follow-up: What happens if both project configuration and --url are available? The command-line URL takes precedence over the configured connection.
The documented options include --port for the listening port, --browser for the browser to open, --config for a custom Prisma config path, and --url for a direct connection string.
Follow-up: Which databases are supported? The current page lists PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQLite; CockroachDB and MongoDB are not supported yet.
